Campbell Strange has always
contributed to my success. Without his knowledge, professionalism and
friendship I would never have been able to compete at such a high level.

Robert (Bobby) Gonzalez, Third Generation Florida Pigeon Flyer.
My mother’s father Raul Charbonier, born in Cuba, was a well respected pigeon flyer here in the Tampa area. My father, also named Robert, became hooked on my grandfathers hobby and flew pigeons with me as Robert Gonzalez & son until his death in 1992.
As a kid, I helped my father with the birds. My father however eventually got out of the sport. It wasn’t until he moved in with me that I suggested he get back into pigeons. I always helped around the loft, but stayed in the background of my dad’s hobby. It wasn’t until 1989 I decided to take a more active roll in the pigeon loft. I wanted to obtain the best birds I could lay my hands on. I purchased a few pairs from Campbell Strange of Oak Haven Farms.
That group of pigeons made a tremendous impact, included in the group was “Magic Maker”. This cock has been responsible for an unaccountable number of winners.
